Research / Several Research Fellows Recognized for Excellent Research

Several Research Fellows Have Been Recognized For Excellent Research Including:

— David Robinson was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the Stockholm School of Economics and selected as coordinator of the National Bureau of Economic Research’s Entrepreneurship Research (NBER) Boot Camp, an intensive training course for PhD students who wish to focus their research on innovation and entrepreneurship.

— Ronnie Chatterji received the Kauffman Prize Medal, given annually by the Kauffman Foundation to the person 40 or under whose research has had the biggest impact on the field of entrepreneurship.

— Manuel Adelino, Elena Kulchina, and Juan Carlos Suarez Serrato were honored with Kauffman Foundation Junior Faculty Fellowships, which recognize the top junior scholars in the country.

— Victor Bennett recently completed a term as a Senior Economist focused on technology and competition in the President’s Council of Economic Advisers under President Barack Obama.

— Manju Puri is currently serving as the Chief Economist of the Federal Deposit Insurance
