The Need For Publicly-Funded Research
Ashish Arora, PhD, and Sharon Belenzon, PhD, have been studying the decline of corporate research, a trend that has been occurring since the 1980s. They argue that to fill this gap, more public funding of research and innovation is needed. To influence public discussion and policy, the two Fuqua faculty members have made the data they’ve collected public through an online platform.
