I&E Academy

The Innovation & Entrepreneurship Academy is designed to help the Duke community and the wider community expand their skill sets in innovation and entrepreneurship. The academy, which is open to anyone who would like to attend, covers a broad set of topics through evening workshops. Past topics have included design thinking, developing innovative solutions to problems, new venture funding, protecting intellectual property, and writing business plans.

Sessions for Spring 2017 included: “Perfecting the Pitch,” “The Art of Risk-Taking: Tactical Tools for Taking Risks and Handling Fear, Failure & Rejection,” and “I Have an Idea, Do I Need A Lawyer?”
