The Durham Innovation District
The Durham Innovation District is a partnership between Duke, Durham, and Longfellow Real Estate Partners to develop 1.7 million square feet of office, lab, retail, and residential space in downtown Durham. The Bullpen was the second building included in Durham.ID, after the Carmichael, which has lab and classroom space. Other additions to Durham.ID include the Chesterfield, where Duke leases space, and two seven-story buildings that are currently under construction across the street from the Bullpen.
