CROSS-CAMPUS INNOVATION:
Duke Law Start-up Ventures Clinic

Entrepreneurs who have not yet raised a significant amount of capital can seek legal advice from the Duke Law Start-up Ventures Clinic, where law students provide pro bono assistance. The clinic can help with many areas related to starting a company, including formation, intellectual property protection, commercialization strategies, and operational issues.

During the 2016–17 school year, the Start-up Ventures Clinic provided over 1,500 hours of free service to entrepreneurs at Duke and in the community. The Start-up Ventures Clinic engages with Duke I&E by holding office hours at the Bullpen and by participating in presentations during the I&E Academy series.
