DukeGEN is a network of Duke alumni who are interested in building connections among Duke entrepreneurs. The network encourages Duke entrepreneurs around the globe to connect and increase their chances of success.
DukeGEN Startup Showcase
DukeGEN sponsors showcases annually in both New York City and San Francisco. During each showcase, select Duke affiliated startups have the opportunity to pitch to a panel of Duke alumni judges and investors. The Startup Showcase is also a venue for networking with other Duke alumni who are interested in entrepreneurship. Recent winners of Startup Showcases include Ello Raw, a healthy snack company founded by Becky Holmes (T’15), and Swell Energy, a company focused on clean energy utility products cofounded by Matt Rising (T’07).
